About Me

I’m currently a part time University student studying for a BSc in Computing with Honours. I’ve completed the first four years of my course and now only have the final project remaining.  

I’ve had an interest in computing since the very early 80s when I bought my first PC. I’ve mainly been a Windows user, having had almost ever version of windows since its launch. I have also dabbled with Linux on and off over the years as well.  Vista is probably the only version of windows I haven’t used,  I did try a beta version of it in early 2006 and decided it just wasn’t for me.  It was at this point my plan to switch to Apple started. I finally managed it in 2007 when I bought an iMac. Since then I have bought a Macbook for my daughter and I’ve also treated myself to a MacBook Pro.  

I’m would definitely say I’m a totally converted, card carrying Mac user now.
